Jéjé Online Market is an e-commerce market where people can shop for food items, provisions, kitchen utensils and other related items from the comfort of their homes, offices or other locations of their choice; and have purchased items delivered to them anywhere within the Abuja metropolis.

We offer our customers convenient shopping and quality produce at unbeatable prices, consistent with a fair return on investment for our shareholders alongside job enhancement/security for our employees. Our services are a welcome development in Nigeria because we eliminate the stress of commuting to markets and shops to get groceries.

How Affordable are your products and services?

Our products and services are sold at or below average market prices, so we provide great value-for-money to our customers.

How much do you charge to deliver purchased items to customers?

We deliver purchased goods to our customers at very affordable flat rates of just N200 for retail purchases, and just N1000 for wholesale purchases.

Why don’t you sell Non-food related products?

We increase our expertise and provide better quality products and services by creating a niche for ourselves in this specific area. Thus, we only deal with food items, provisions, groceries, kitchen utensils and other food-related items.

How do I place an Order?

An order can be placed on our website by placing items of your choice in an online cart, and then proceeding to check out. During this process, you will be required to provide relevant information such as your name, email and delivery address. You will get a confirmation email once you have successfully placed an order online.

How do I make payment for items I purchase?

You can pay for items you purchase through one of three methods: Paying cash on delivery, paying with a debit or credit card on our POS machine upon delivery, or paying on our Interswitch Payment Gateway found on our website.

Can I change or cancel my order after I have successfully placed it?

Once you have confirmed your order and checked out you will not be able to make any changes to the order on our website. Cancellations and changes to orders after check out can only be made by making a phone call to our Customer Care Service in less than 6 hours after the order was made online for next-day deliveries, and in less than 1 hour after the order was made online for same day deliveries. If you call to cancel your order or to make changes after these stated timeframes, we may not be able to effect those changes, and you will be required to pay for the original order you made.

How long does it take to deliver products to customers?

Our Standard delivery is within 24 hours of the time the order was placed. However, orders placed before 12 noon will be delivered on the same day.

We aim to deliver all orders between 1pm and 7pm from Monday to Saturday. There are no deliveries on Sunday, so standard orders made on Saturday will be delivered on Monday. Please note that we will not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver goods at the above stated timeframes.

We will communicate the estimated time of delivery to you at least 5 hours before the time for standard deliveries, and at least 3 hours before the time for same day deliveries. We would also confirm the convenience of the estimated time with you before delivery. You are to ensure that either you or your proxy is present at the delivery address at the agreed time, and you or your proxy will be required to sign as acknowledgement of receipt.

If no one is at the delivery address at the agreed delivery time, our delivery staff will wait for a maximum of 5 minutes at your delivery address before leaving. We will then contact you to resolve the situation and another attempt to deliver MAY be made at our convenience, and at an additional delivery charge.

Can I return items I buy?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return the products with your money fully refunded to you, on the condition that the products purchased are still in a brand new condition and have not been tampered with. In addition, you will need to contact us with proof of purchase and within a period of 3 hours from the time of delivery for perishable items and within 48 hours from the time of delivery for other items. Once the right to return is not exercised within the stated period, Jéjé Online Market reserves the discretion to accept or decline a return.

Items that qualify to be returned can be returned at a full refund by contacting us at returns@jejeonlinemarket.com. However, money paid for products on sale or promotion will not be refunded.

Note also that if returns are not due to a mistake on the part of Jéjé Online Market (e.g. incorrect delivery), you will bear the cost of shipping or delivery charges for returns. Where you are eligible for refunds, you will receive your money within a period of 5 working days from the date that Jéjé Online Market received the returned goods.

How can I be sure that the information I provide on your website is secure?

We put measures in place to ensure that your data is as secure as possible while it is with us. These measures include strict encryption, anonymization, collecting details on a secure server, and archiving techniques to safeguard your information across all our computer systems, networks, websites, offices and stores. In addition, we use secure means to communicate with you where appropriate. We may also occasionally request for proof of identity before we disclose your personal information to you.

Please note that while we do our best to protect your private information, other users or third parties may unlawfully intercept our private communications and gain unlawful access to your private information, or may abuse information found on the site. We therefore cannot guarantee that your private information will always remain private.
